About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
The FutureFrontier Foundation is a 501c(3) organization established in New York State, aiming to inspire, educate, and engage young people in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. We strive to cultivate a passion for discovery and innovation among young minds through innovative programs, educational initiatives, and community outreach.
The Foundation is an official US Presidential Volunteer Service Award Certifying Organization. We actively seek to expand our activities and initiatives in related areas that align with our overarching goal of empowering the next generation of leaders in STEM fields.

From Our Founder

Good morning, and a warm welcome to every member of our FutureFrontier family. It’s energizing to see you all here as we begin a new year of discovery.
The past academic year, 2024-25, has been a time of remarkable achievements, making last year a tremendous success.
In the summer of 2024, we brought the wonder of space to life with our Interstellar Migration exhibition in Shanghai, an event that captivated thousands of visitors and garnered attention from five national media outlets.
Our community has flourished as well: the TechTrek newspaper has grown from my solo initiative into a vibrant, global community encompassing 25 schools and over 45 writers. Together, we have published more than 80 commentaries and news articles on the latest developments in science and technology, attracting hundreds of thousands of views through Instagram, WeChat, Weibo, and our website. Notably, our TechTrek reached the impressive milestone of 120,000 views in June 2025!
Earlier this year, we launched our pioneering IdeaX Talks podcast, establishing a direct connection between students and industry professionals. In just three months, we've hosted discussions with leading figures from Google, Roblox, and The New York Times.
Additionally, we have championed social justice through a critical examination of healthcare access disparities in U.S. immigrant communities. Using advanced machine learning and data science tools, we identified gaps in care and advocated for change through two in-depth research papers and a documentary.
This year, we will build on this momentum, dreaming bigger, reaching further, and creating even more opportunities to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders. Our mission to educate and engage is more vital than ever.
The future is a frontier waiting to be explored. Let’s continue this journey together.
Thank you.
Best wishes,
Annabelle Yao
