Ly Ta is in the graduating class of 2026 at Evergreen Valley High School. She is fascinated by cellular mechanisms in propagating disease and driven to investigate novel avenues to treat, diagnose, and prevent healthcare issues. Through her experiences presenting in-vitro research on cancer and muscular degeneration, she has found a passion for ensuring that medical advancements are accessible to all who need them or plan to continue innovating with them, which she intends to pursue through TechTrek. Ly anticipates a scientific future where traditional lab benchmarks and technological innovations interact to maintain integrity in research and advance the frontiers of biomedicine to stay ahead of relentlessly progressing diseases.
