Jun Jang

Jun Jang is a senior at Oxford High School with a particular interest in natural language processing–a blend between artificial intelligence (AI) and the human language. Ever since he tried out an Amazon Alexa, he’s been fascinated by the way AI models interpret and interact with language, which effectively bridges the gap between humans and machines. He especially appreciates NLP because it combines aspects of linguistics and computer science, which he enjoys through his time spent in Debate and Programming. He envisions a future where conversational AI becomes a non-negotiable aspect of human communication through improving our understanding of effective language.
